This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in <strong>building materials, construction supply or distribution<\/strong> who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.<\/p>\n<p> Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will help oversee <strong>inside sales, customer service, logistics and overall branch operations<\/strong>, while supporting a team-focused culture and ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of service.<\/p>\n<p> This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be visible on the floor, involved with the team and comfortable jumping in wherever needed to keep the branch running effectively.<\/p>\n<p> What You&#8217;ll Do <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Branch Manager with the overall day-to-day operation of the branch.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership, coaching and support to the <strong>inside sales and customer service team<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Help coordinate branch operations, order flow, logistics and distribution.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure customers receive knowledgeable, responsive and professional service.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the team in developing solutions for contractors, builders and other construction customers.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with sales, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.<\/li>\n<li>Help manage customer concerns, order issues and operational challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Support inventory management and ensure appropriate product availability.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with scheduling, workload planning and day-to-day staffing requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Help establish priorities and ensure the team is working effectively during busy periods.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Branch Manager with employee development, coaching and performance.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe, organized and professional branch environment.<\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with employees and create a positive, collaborative workplace culture.<\/li>\n<li>Step into the Branch Manager&#8217;s responsibilities when required.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve customer service, operational efficiency and overall branch performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What You Bring <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience within <strong>building materials, construction supply, lumber, masonry, hardscapes or a related distribution environment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, assistant manager or management capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of inside sales, customer service and branch operations.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within a fast-paced distribution environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership skills with a genuine interest in developing and supporting employees.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working directly with contractors, builders and construction-industry customers.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly when operational issues arise.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative leadership style and willingness to be hands-on with the team.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with inventory, logistics or warehouse operations is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Who You Are<\/p>\n<p> You are a <strong>people-focused leader<\/strong> who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day business.
