They are looking for a customer-focused, commercially minded Inside Sales Representative to join their experienced Calgary team.<\/p>\n<p>This is more than an order desk role. You&#8217;ll manage established customer relationships, prepare quotations, coordinate orders and work closely with customers to understand their requirements and identify opportunities to provide additional products and solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You&#8217;ll Do<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and develop relationships with external and internal customers including working closely with other branches<\/li>\n<li>Respond to inquiries and prepare accurate, competitive quotations<\/li>\n<li>Process and coordinate customer orders from quote through delivery<\/li>\n<li>Provide product, pricing, inventory and availability information<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with vendors, outside sales, purchasing, warehouse and operations<\/li>\n<li>Help customers identify appropriate product and processing solutions<\/li>\n<li>Build relationships with fabricators, manufacturers, OEMs and industrial customers<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business<\/li>\n<li>Develop strong technical knowledge of steel and metal products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/strong> <br \/>We&#8217;re looking for someone who combines <strong>excellent customer service with strong commercial instincts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You understand that an incoming inquiry isn&#8217;t simply an order to process. You ask questions, understand what the customer needs and look for opportunities to provide the right solution and grow the relationship.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll bring: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent <strong>B2B inside sales, customer service or account management experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing quotations, processing orders and supporting customers<\/li>\n<li>Strong numerical skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Confidence discussing pricing and following up on quotations<\/li>\n<li>Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong organization and follow-through<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple customer requirements and priorities<\/li>\n<li>A proactive, responsive approach to customer service<\/li>\n<li>Interest in developing strong technical product knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Experience in <strong>metals, fabrication or industrial distribution<\/strong> is an asset.
