This role will oversee daily operations, P&amp;L performance, customer service, sales growth, safety, inventory accuracy, and team development.<\/p>\n<p> Key Responsibilities <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee receiving, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and facility operations.<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement, productivity, and cost reduction.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the distribution center&#8217;s P&amp;L, budgets, and key performance indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Build customer relationships and conduct proactive sales outreach.<\/li>\n<li>Recruit, coach, and lead warehouse, delivery, and office personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and service.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the setup and opening of the new distribution center.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Qualifications <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5-7 years of warehouse or distribution management experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing budgets, P&amp;L statements, and logistics operations.<\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Mechanically inclined, with knowledge of hand and power tools.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable using KPIs and data to drive decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s license required.<\/li>\n<li>College degree or equivalent experience preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What&#8217;s on Offer <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary and benefits package.<\/li>\n<li>RRSP with automatic company contribution.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and entrepreneurial work culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> We are seeking a self-starting, accountable leader who takes ownership, drives improvement, and builds strong teams and customer relationships.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>To apply:<\/strong> Please contact <strong>nkittlitz@dmcrecruitment.com<\/strong> for a confidential discussion.<\/p>\n<p> <em>DMC Recruitment uses a CRM system that includes AI-assisted screening and summarization; a human consultant makes the final decision on candidate suitability.
