This individual will play a key role in supporting workplace projects through space planning, furniture specification, technical drawings, and visual presentation development.<br \/> This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys the creative and technical side of workplace interiors and has a strong understanding of commercial furniture applications and specifications.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>THE ROLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> The Designer will support workplace projects from concept through installation by preparing accurate drawings, layouts, specifications, and renderings for a variety of commercial interior environments. Working collaboratively with internal teams, this individual will help ensure furniture solutions are functional, visually compelling, and technically sound.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare furniture layouts, technical drawings, and specifications for commercial workplace projects<\/li>\n<li>Develop creative and functional space planning solutions based on client requirements<\/li>\n<li>Create drawings and concepts using AutoCAD and Configura CET<\/li>\n<li>Produce installation and technical drawings with a high level of accuracy and detail<\/li>\n<li>Generate quotations and specifications using furniture specification software<\/li>\n<li>Prepare renderings and visual presentations utilizing CET Photo Lab, SketchUp, and\/or V-Ray<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with sales, project management, and client support teams throughout project execution<\/li>\n<li>Support projects across corporate, government, institutional, and RFP-driven sectors<\/li>\n<li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while handling revisions and evolving project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Review and interpret architectural drawings and floorplans<\/li>\n<li>Participate in client-facing meetings and project discussions as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>WHAT WE&#8217;RE LOOKING FOR<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial furniture specification, workplace interiors, or related industries<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Configura CET<\/li>\n<li>Experience with specification and quoting software such as CAP\/2020 or similar platforms<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of SketchUp and\/or V-Ray is considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of commercial furniture systems and technical product application<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and collaboration abilities<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>WHAT&#8217;S OFFERED<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hybrid work environment<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to work on high-profile workplace and commercial interior projects<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and supportive team culture<\/li>\n<li>Long-term growth opportunities within an established organization in the commercial interiors industry<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation package based on experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DMC Recruitment uses a CRM system that includes AI-assisted screening and summary.
