With a collaborative studio culture, a strong design focus, and a steady pipeline of exciting Tenant Improvement projects, this is an opportunity to take ownership of your work while continuing to grow your career alongside an experienced team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is well-rounded, hands-on, with experience successfully delivering projects from start to completion as the Prime Consultant, either independently or with the support of a team. The ideal candidate has also worked within external, mid-size, commercial A+D firms that operate on billable hours. <\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING<br \/><\/strong><br \/>As a Senior Interior Designer, you&#8217;ll lead and work on projects from start to finish, balancing creative design with technical excellence and client-focused delivery. You&#8217;ll play a key role in shaping inspiring environments while leading and managing team members and contributing to the studio&#8217;s collaborative culture.<\/p>\n<p>Your responsibilities will include: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading commercial Tenant Improvement projects from programming through construction administration.<\/li>\n<li>Manage project staffing, fees, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining exceptional design quality.<\/li>\n<li>Build trusted relationships with clients to understand their goals, vision, operational needs, and project objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Develop innovative design concepts that combine creativity, functionality, sustainability, and budget considerations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare engaging presentations, design narratives, and material palettes that effectively communicate design intent.<\/li>\n<li>Produce and reviewing detailed 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations throughout the design process.<\/li>\n<li>Research and specifying finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with both aesthetic and performance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and produce high-quality, coordinated construction documentation and ensuring technical accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout every phase of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in design reviews, studio collaboration sessions, and mentoring opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>WHAT YOU BRING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for a confident design professional who enjoys both the creative and technical aspects of commercial interior design and is ready to take on a leadership role.<\/p>\n<p>You bring: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min. 8+ years of commercial interior design experience with a strong focus on Workplace, Retail, and other branded Commercial Tenant Improvement projects.<\/li>\n<li>A Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program preferred.<\/li>\n<li>NCIDQ certification and Registered Interior Designer (RID) designation, or eligibility for registration preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience working within architectural or multidisciplinary design firms.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, building systems, and current BC Building Codes and local bylaws.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to confidently engage clients and project teams.<\/li>\n<li>Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent projects.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.<\/li>\n<li>A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and passion for creating outstanding interior environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS OPPORTUNITY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is an opportunity to join a design-driven studio where ideas and expertise are valued and advancement within the company is possible.
