This role encompasses the full lifecycle of the system, from design coordination through construction, testing, commissioning (T&amp;C), and post-construction activities until final handover.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in coordinating the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities for the assigned System.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the integration of the assigned scope with other systems (e.g., Signaling, Electrical, Communications, Traffic Control, Interfaced systems, etc.) and maintain alignment with the overall project schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Track progress on design, ICDs, RFIs, procurement, and other KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Review subcontractor documents, administer the Aconex review process, and package documents for submission to the City or EOR.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and manage the Testing and Commissioning phase, ensuring the pre-installation tests are coordinated with subcontractors and all systems are ready for operational readiness.<\/li>\n<li>Review and witness Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution of issues.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve interface issues between vendors and ensure smooth coordination across systems.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and follow up on schedules for installation and testing.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce safety protocols during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure conformance of activities and deliverables to the project&#8217;s quality requirements and apply corrective measures as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate final documentation, including Operation &amp; Maintenance (O&amp;M) manuals, as-builts, spare parts, and warranty certificates.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in post-construction activities, including performance demonstrations during the defect notification period.<\/li>\n<li>Lead weekly progress meetings, document and circulate meeting minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth progress and resolution of any issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Requirements:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or related field. A combination of experience and education will be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Additional qualifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years in rail or infrastructure projects with at least 3 years of experience with Systems (e.g., TCS, TRPS, ATP, CTC, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Tram\/LRT systems is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>A background in systems engineering, requirements management, and verification &amp; validation (V&amp;V) processes is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Skills, Competencies, Attributes<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of interfaces between systems, facilities, and vehicles (e.g., Light Rail Vehicle), and experience in system integration.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of safety protocols in rail operations and T&amp;C phases.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus) and proficiency in documentation and reporting tools.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the AFP\/PPP\/P3 construction project models, along with hands-on experience in testing and commissioning, particularly in railway or large infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Previous leadership experience, including managing teams and subcontractors, is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in interfacing with stakeholders at all levels and in a variety of technical disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated commitment to safety, especially in dynamic testing and energization phases.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to adapt and apply lessons learned to improve processes and overcome project challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to negotiate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep\/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","job_category":[782,970],"job_location":[780],"class_list":["post-16867","job","type-job","status-publish","hentry","job_category-construction","job_category-project-manager","job_location-alberta"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/16867","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=16867"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_category?post=16867"},{"taxonomy":"job_location","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_location?post=16867"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
