This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence across warehouse operations, inventory management, purchasing, customer service, logistics, and overall business execution.<\/p>\n<p> Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Operations Manager will be responsible for optimizing processes, improving productivity, developing employees, and ensuring exceptional customer service while supporting the organization&#8217;s continued growth. This individual will serve as the operational leader of the facility, bringing a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for building efficient, scalable operations.<\/p>\n<p> Key Responsibilities:<br \/>Operational Excellence <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused execution.<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve overall operational performance.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, monitor, and report on key operational metrics including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, on-time delivery, productivity, and customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain standardized operating procedures and best practices across the operation.<\/li>\n<li>Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Inventory, Warehouse &amp; Supply Chain: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, replenishment strategies, and procurement activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, process controls, and inventory optimization initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with purchasing and sales teams to improve forecasting, inventory planning, and product availability.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and shipping\/receiving processes to improve efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely product availability and effective supply chain performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Leadership &amp; Team Development: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse, customer service, and operations team members.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a high-performance culture through clear expectations, accountability, and employee development.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to improve individual and team performance.<\/li>\n<li>Champion workplace safety while ensuring compliance with company policies and operational procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Cross-Functional Collaboration: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Support sales initiatives by ensuring operational capabilities align with customer expectations and business objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with senior leadership on operational planning, capacity management, and future growth initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular reporting and recommendations to improve operational performance and scalability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What We&#8217;re Looking For: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of leadership experience within Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing, Wholesale Distribution, Logistics, or Supply Chain.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success leading warehouse and operational teams in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or process optimization initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing inventory, procurement, warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor, supporting employees, and driving operational improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What&#8217;s In It For You?
