You&#8217;ll work closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting across multiple active projects.<\/p>\n<p>This is a key role supporting project performance and financial integrity during critical delivery and closeout phases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage full-cycle project accounting across active construction projects<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate <strong>job cost reporting<\/strong> and ensure alignment with budgets<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and support <strong>progress billing, draws, and client invoicing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Monitor <strong>WIP (Work-in-Progress) schedules<\/strong> and revenue recognition<\/li>\n<li>Track commitments, change orders, and subcontractor costs<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with Project Managers to provide financial insights and forecasting support<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end close, accruals, and financial reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all project financials are reconciled and complete through <strong>project closeout<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of experience in <strong>construction project accounting<\/strong> (GC or subcontractor environment preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of <strong>job costing, WIP, progress billing, and change orders<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience working with construction accounting systems (e.g., Procore, Sage, Viewpoint, Jonas, or similar)<\/li>\n<li>Solid Excel skills and strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who You Are<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong ownership mindset\u2014you take responsibility for the accuracy of your work<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a project-driven, deadline-focused environment<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and able to work closely with Project Managers and site teams<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to identify discrepancies early<\/li>\n<li>Calm under pressure, especially during billing cycles and project closeouts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why This Role<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with a well-established construction organization in Vancouver<\/li>\n<li>High exposure to live projects and end-to-end project lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Strong collaboration with operational and project delivery teams<\/li>\n<li>Key role supporting upcoming <strong>project closeout activity<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Stable, long-term opportunity with growth potential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <span><br \/>If you&#8217;re an experienced Project Accountant looking to make an impact in a growing organization, we&#8217;d love to hear from you.
