{"id":15514,"date":"2026-05-22T05:45:24","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T19:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/job\/scheduler\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T05:45:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T19:45:25","slug":"scheduler","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/job\/scheduler\/","title":{"rendered":"Scheduler"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><strong>Scheduler<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the of planning and scheduling on the project to ensure project teams optimization<\/li>\n<li>Schedule all reactive and planned works to appropriate resources, focusing on meeting all work plans within specified timelines<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and update schedules with actual progress and forecast remaining durations, project milestones, and completion dates<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and issue schedule analysis narratives and reports including recommendations for corrective actions to be used by project teams to manage the work<\/li>\n<li>Apply practical field experience with planning and scheduling knowledge to identify challenges to the project schedule and suggest mitigation plans and prepare recovery schedules<\/li>\n<li>Accurately record all job-related information on the appropriate IT systems<\/li>\n<li>Review subcontract schedule status and provide Management with input on subcontract performance<\/li>\n<li>Prepare schedule risk analysis to forecast contingencies<\/li>\n<li>Promptly resolve issues with specific projects, jobs, clients or<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full Sentinel competencies and audit trails are maintained and evidenced where<\/li>\n<li>Follow project safety policies and<\/li>\n<li>Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may result in failure of service delivery, or risk to health and safety, or the environment.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out what-if schedule analysis for different options or to assess impacts of certain events<\/li>\n<li>Carry out delay analysis for claims, review and recommend on extension of time claims or requests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Requirements:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology or a combination of equivalent skills and field<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills, French an asset<\/li>\n<li>10+ years of relevant experience in similar positions in planning<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Primavera 6, MS Project and Excel skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience with heavy civil, design build or P3 construction projects, an asset;<\/li>\n<li>Understand transit systems<\/li>\n<li>Apply the principles of project controls to planning\/scheduling work processes<\/li>\n<li>Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Experience with complex projects or programs as a project resource and\/or<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take a leading role in project scheduling for a complex project or<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify problems within existing project controls\u2019 systems and highlight\/ implement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/div>","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","job_category":[782,978],"job_location":[679],"class_list":["post-15514","job","type-job","status-publish","hentry","job_category-construction","job_category-senior-estimator","job_location-edmonton"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/15514","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=15514"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_category?post=15514"},{"taxonomy":"job_location","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_location?post=15514"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
