With a strong leadership team and a clear growth plan, the organization is focused on becoming a key supplier to residential and multi family construction across Alberta.<\/p>\n<p> They are seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow both the Edmonton and Southern Alberta markets, build strong relationships across the builder and contractor network, and drive revenue in a highly competitive and relationship driven environment.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>The Opportunity<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>This is a foundational role within a growing organization. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the go to market strategy across Alberta, building out a high performing sales presence over time, and establishing the company as a trusted partner to builders, framers, and developers.<br \/> This role will suit someone who understands both the Edmonton and Southern Alberta markets, has strong relationships within the home building community, and is comfortable both leading and selling.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Sales Leadership and Strategy<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute the sales strategy across Edmonton, Northern Alberta, and Southern Alberta<\/li>\n<li>Establish pricing strategies, target accounts, and growth plans aligned with company objectives<\/li>\n<li>Support the build out of a sales team across regions as the business scales<\/li>\n<li>Track performance, pipeline, and key sales metrics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Business Development<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively pursue new business with residential builders, multi family developers, and framing contractors across Alberta<\/li>\n<li>Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Identify and secure key accounts across both Northern and Southern Alberta<\/li>\n<li>Position the company as a preferred supplier through service, reliability, and expertise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Customer Relationship Management<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, project managers, and procurement teams<\/li>\n<li>Understand customer needs and align internal teams to deliver on expectations<\/li>\n<li>Support clients through the full project lifecycle from quoting to delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Cross Functional Collaboration<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with design, production, and purchasing to ensure alignment on timelines, pricing, and capacity<\/li>\n<li>Support estimating and quoting processes with accurate information and clear communication<\/li>\n<li>Provide market feedback to leadership to support pricing, product, and operational decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Market Intelligence and Growth<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics across Alberta<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for product expansion, service improvements, and market penetration<\/li>\n<li>Support long term growth strategy across both Northern and Southern regions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Health and Safety and Compliance<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote a strong safety culture in all customer interactions and job site engagement<\/li>\n<li>Ensure alignment with company and customer safety standards when working on site<\/li>\n<li>Support adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements within the construction environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Who They\u2019re Looking For<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7 to 15 plus years of sales experience within lumber, building materials, truss, or engineered wood products<\/li>\n<li>Strong, established relationships across both Edmonton, Northern Alberta, and Southern Alberta markets<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing new business<\/li>\n<li>Experience selling into residential and multi family construction<\/li>\n<li>Leadership experience or the ability to step into a leadership role as the team grows<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and customer expectations<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a multi region market<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and relationship building
