With a focus primarily on commercial projects, they are known throughout the industry for their professional and dynamic approach with an emphasis on high-end and specification grade luminaires. <\/p>\n<p><strong>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE<br \/><\/strong>Our Client is seeking a Project Specialist to join their growing team. Operating across North America, our Client partners with leading developers, designers, and contractors to deliver high-end, specification-grade lighting solutions across commercial, workplace, hospitality, and restaurant environments.<strong><br \/> This is an opportunity to step into a more strategic, end-to-end project role\u2014moving beyond traditional electrical contracting and lighting distribution into a position that blends estimating, design coordination, procurement, and client interaction. <\/strong>This role is ideal for someone who is currently a: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Working with an <strong>electrical contractor, lighting supplier, or distributor<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Looking to transition into a <strong>more integrated, client-facing and design-oriented role<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>WHY THIS ROLE<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposure to <strong>premium, design-driven projects<\/strong> across multiple markets<\/li>\n<li>Involvement across the <strong>full project lifecycle<\/strong>: budgeting \u2192 design coordination \u2192 procurement \u2192 installation<\/li>\n<li>Direct collaboration with <strong>architects, interior designers, and developers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A strong platform for growth into <strong>Project Management or specialized lighting expertise<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Support for <strong>professional development within the lighting industry<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>WHAT YOU&#8217;LL BE DOING<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review <strong>electrical, architectural, and interior design drawings<\/strong> to understand project scope<\/li>\n<li>Lead and support <strong>project budgeting, estimating, and quotation development<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with <strong>manufacturers and suppliers<\/strong> to source, price, and value engineer lighting solutions<\/li>\n<li>Manage <strong>shop drawings and submittals<\/strong>, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design intent<\/li>\n<li>Oversee <strong>procurement processes<\/strong>, including purchase orders, vendor coordination, and delivery tracking<\/li>\n<li>Soutien <strong>change management<\/strong>, including add\/delete pricing and updates<\/li>\n<li>Maintain clear, consistent communication with <strong>clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Assist with <strong>site coordination and technical support<\/strong> during installation phases<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships across the <strong>project ecosystem<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>WHAT YOU BRING<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience in <strong>commercial construction<\/strong>, ideally within <strong>tenant improvement, workplace, or restaurant projects<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Estimating, take-offs, and quotations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Reviewing <strong>drawings and specifications<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Coordinating trades, suppliers, and project documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to <strong>lighting products or electrical scopes<\/strong> is strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to <strong>manage multiple projects and priorities<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with a high level of <strong>accuracy and accountability<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Confident communicator who can engage with both <strong>technical and non-technical stakeholders<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a <strong>fast-paced environment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>
