The Site Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring materials, inventory, logistics, and people are aligned to support efficient builds and timely delivery.<\/p>\n<p> This is a <strong>hands-on, on-site leadership role<\/strong> suited to someone with strong construction knowledge, operational discipline, and people management experience.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Key Responsibilities; <\/strong><strong>Operations &amp; Supply Chain Management<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own <strong>procurement and supply planning<\/strong> for RTM home builds and retail supply to two satellite locations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all required materials (lumber, trusses, windows, doors, siding, roofing, cabinetry, finishes, etc.) are <strong>on-site and available<\/strong> ahead of build schedules<\/li>\n<li>Manage <strong>inventory control<\/strong>, yard organization, and material flow<\/li>\n<li>Act as the central coordination point for bulk purchasing and distribution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Logistics &amp; Transportation<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Schedule and optimize deliveries between locations and to customers<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate daily routes and workloads for Class 3 driver and yard staff<\/li>\n<li>Ensure efficient use of company vehicles and equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>People Leadership &amp; Administration<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly manage a team of <strong>four on-site staff<\/strong> (yard, transportation, estimating, d\u00e9cor support)<\/li>\n<li>Provide coaching, performance management, and scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Oversee basic <strong>financial and administrative responsibilities<\/strong> related to site operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with the <strong>Chef de projet<\/strong> who oversees contractors and build execution<\/li>\n<li>Support estimating, customer selections, and material decisions tied to customized home builds<\/li>\n<li>Engage with customers and internal teams where operational input is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>What Success Looks Like<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Materials arrive <strong>on time, in sequence<\/strong>, and aligned with build phases<\/li>\n<li>Yard operations remain organized, efficient, and safe<\/li>\n<li>Transportation routes are optimized and cost-effective<\/li>\n<li>Builds are not delayed due to supply or logistics gaps<\/li>\n<li>Staff are well-supported, accountable, and productive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Ideal Background<\/strong> We are open to different profiles, but strong candidates will likely have: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in <strong>construction, contracting, or residential building<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Hands-on knowledge of building materials and home construction processes<\/li>\n<li>Prior responsibility for <strong>inventory, logistics, or site operations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Proven <strong>people leadership<\/strong> experience<\/li>\n<li>Comfort working in a <strong>rural, on-site environment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This role would suit someone who has: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Run operations for a contractor, yard, or build site<\/li>\n<li>Managed materials for residential construction or renovations<\/li>\n<li>Progressed through the trades into leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Work Environment<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fully <strong>on-site role<\/strong> (typical hours: 8:00am\u20134:00pm)<\/li>\n<li>Located in <strong>St. Leon, MB<\/strong> (approx. 15 minutes from Somerset)<\/li>\n<li>Rural setting with a tight-knit, practical team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Compensation &amp;
