With decades of operational experience and a strong focus on quality, safety, and delivery performance, the organization is looking to bring on a Quality Manager to oversee and strengthen their quality systems, ensuring consistent product excellence and compliance with industry standards.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Responsibilities<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, develop, and continuously improve quality control processes across production<\/li>\n<li>Oversee inspection activities; train, mentor, and support Quality Inspectors<\/li>\n<li>Interpret fabrication and machining drawings, blueprints, and specifications<\/li>\n<li>Monitor welder qualification testing and visual weld inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX<\/li>\n<li>Maintain welder training records, qualification records, and continuity logs (internal and customer-specific)<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage welding procedures, inspection reports, and quality documentation packages<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Project Managers, production teams, and clients to resolve quality issues<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audits; contribute to ongoing quality system improvements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update the Quality Manual, SOPs, and work instructions<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to safety standards and safe welding practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5\u201310 years of experience in quality or inspection within heavy steel fabrication or welding<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience as a Quality Manager, Quality Lead, or Senior Inspector preferred<\/li>\n<li>High school diploma required; additional certifications are an asset<\/li>\n<li>AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) designation considered a strong advantage<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of NDT methods (VT, MT, UT, PT, RT, Phased Array) and quality audit processes<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with AWS D1.1, ASME, and NACE standards<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret complex fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and geometric tolerances<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is an asset<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail with advanced problem-solving capabilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> If you are looking to grow within a stable business, this is the right opportunity for you!<\/p>\n<p> Email me directly jessica@dmcrecruitment.com<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","job_category":[880,908],"job_location":[909],"class_list":["post-15177","job","type-job","status-publish","hentry","job_category-manufacturing","job_category-qa","job_location-texas"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/15177","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=15177"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_category?post=15177"},{"taxonomy":"job_location","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dmcrecruitment.com\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_location?post=15177"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
