Compensation: $65,000k - $80,000k

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is seeking a creative and technically minded Designer - Architectural Solutions to join their growing team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for a design professional who enjoys bringing commercial environments to life through innovative workplace solutions, architectural systems, and interior design.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and problem-solving. Working closely with clients, sales teams, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders, you will transform concepts into fully realized spaces using advanced design tools and visualization software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create innovative workplace and interior design solutions from concept through completion.
• Develop designs using specialized architectural visualization software and AutoCAD.
• Translate 2D plans into 3D renderings and virtual walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure design intent is successfully executed.
• Review drawings, specifications, and production information for accuracy.
• Maintain a strong understanding of project scope, schedules, and design requirements.
• Assist with order preparation and project documentation in coordination with Project Managers.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project walkthroughs.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience throughout the design process.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing commercial interior environments.
• Previous experience within an architectural, interior design, workplace, contract furniture, or architectural products environment.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D visualization software.
• Experience with architectural wall systems, workplace interiors, commercial furniture, or flooring solutions is considered an asset.
• Experience with DIRTT products and ICE® software is considered a strong asset.
• Professional certifications such as NCIDQ, ARIDO, WELL, or similar are considered assets.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for creating inspiring and functional commercial spaces.
