The successful candidate will work closely with distributors, commercial general contractors, architects, and designers, providing expert guidance on insulation solutions. They will also collaborate with internal teams to develop targeted growth strategies and execute sales initiatives that position the company’s products as the preferred choice in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive territory growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing customers.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Provide technical expertise to customers, offering product performance alternatives and solutions.
- Conduct sales presentations and training sessions to educate clients on product benefits.
- Create and manage sales quotations while ensuring follow-up with key decision-makers.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to enhance market presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer orders and service.
- 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably within the British Columbia region with a strong industry network.
- Background in construction or building materials is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Hunter sales mentality – comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and working toward sales targets.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Educational background in Construction Technology, Civil/Architectural Technology, or Engineering is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Experience in EPS foam insulation or related building products (preferred).
- Willingness to travel within British Columbia and the U.S. as required.
- Base salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year
- Performance-based bonuses: $25,000 – $40,000 annually (paid monthly)
