As they expand their presence in Canada, they are seeking an A&D Specifications Sales Representative to focus on the high-end residential and hospitality markets within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Key Responsibilities:
Market Development:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with high-end specifiers, including architects, designers, and developers, who focus on luxury residential and hospitality projects.
- Act as a manufacturer's representative, promoting a sophisticated product offering that emphasizes added value and quality.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities within the GTA, positioning our client’s portfolio as a fresh, innovative option for luxury interior finishing solutions.
- Educate architects and designers on new collections and designs, ensuring alignment with industry trends and the evolving needs of the design community.
- Leverage your expertise to guide specifiers through the selection process, providing consultancy, support, and technical assistance where needed.
- Drive sales through strategic visits to offices, construction sites, and the soon-to-be-launched Toronto showroom, which will serve as a hub for client interaction, education, and showcasing new collections.
- Achieve sales targets by promoting the value proposition of a globally successful product line and replicating this success within the Canadian market.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to monitor market trends and execute the local marketing plan.
- Represent the brand at key industry events, expanding the product’s reach and influence within the luxury design sector.
- Provide feedback and insights to the leadership team to refine strategies and ensure continued market growth.
- A background in Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field, with a strong appreciation for luxury aesthetics and high-end products.
- At least some experience in sales and project management, particularly within an environment focused on premium, value-added products.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills, with a client-oriented mindset and a keen eye for detail.
- A networker with a passion for building long-term relationships in the luxury design industry.
- Experience as a manufacturer's representative, with a proven ability to sell quality and added value.
