SENIOR TECHNOLOGIST Architecture & Design
Location:Calgary, Alberta
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technologist to contribute to design, construction document production, and coordination with our Client who is focused in the Architecture & Design industry. The role can be based in one of their three studios and has flexibility on relocation as well. This role requires well-rounded, comprehensive qualifications, including:
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will require you to have extensive experience drafting detailed drawings across all project phases. You will also bring an in-depth knowledge of construction detailing, working drawings, and contract administratio and will have a solid understanding of building envelope systems, ideally for institutional projects
This role will require you to have an expertise in local building codes and construction method and will have the ability to lead and mentor a project team, coordinating with consultants.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:- Degree or diploma in Architectural and Building Technology from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Canada
- Experience working in the institutional, commercial, educational, healthcare and mixed-use sectors throghout British Columbia
- Self-motivated, with a curious technical aptitude and a keen design sense
- Strong communication skills for a collaborative, team-focused work environment
- Proficient technical skills in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, and/or Enscape
