Our Client looking for a seasoned Senior Project Architect who’s ready to lead and inspire. You’ll be the go-to mentor and coach for our technical team and junior Architects, using your exceptional communication and leadership skills to guide projects from initial concepts all the way through to construction and beyond.
You’ll have the confidence and experience to interact seamlessly with clients and consultants, while ensuring deadlines are met and milestones are achieved throughout the project lifecycle. Your ability to make independent, project-centric decisions and supervise your team will be key to your success.
You’ll work closely with the Principal team, keeping them in the loop on all project matters, while ensuring your team stays informed about objectives, milestones, and deliverables. You’ll be the bridge between client needs and project outcomes, making sure every project not only meets but exceeds client expectations, all while keeping an eye on profitability.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Project Architect, your mission is to deliver top-notch architectural designs that stand out. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Design Leadership: Manage the design process from start to finish, ensuring the highest quality in every project.
- Gestion de projet: Keep the project on track by managing scope, maintaining schedules, and monitoring financial success.
- Team Coordination: Develop project plans, assign tasks, and ensure your team delivers on time.
- Financial Oversight: Take charge of profitability, invoicing, and accounts receivable, providing key insights during Project Health meetings.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain design and technical excellence by following our QA process and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Business Development: Work with the Marketing Lead and Principals to prepare proposals and presentations, and actively participate in securing new projects.
- Mentorship: Lead, train, and mentor junior staff, fostering an environment of growth and creativity.
- Client Interaction: Ensure client satisfaction by offering practical, cost-effective solutions that don’t compromise on design sensitivity.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in architecture and eligibility for registration with AAA.
- Strong leadership qualities with a knack for coaching and mentoring.
- Exceptional communication skills to guide projects and teams with ease.
- Deep understanding of project management, including scope, budgeting, and scheduling.
- A mature, creative approach to solving architectural challenges.
- A strong technical background, particularly in Revit, is a big plus.
- A passion for innovative thinking and problem-solving.
- Excellent sketching, computer, and conceptual design skills.
- Proven experience in leading architectural teams to success.
