Our client 
Ames Tile and Stone is a high-performance environment designed around its people. They aim to create a fantastic place to work and earn a living for all of their employees and this embodies itself in a culture of teamwork and collaboration. The Burnaby location is their flagship location, and including the showroom and outside sales team, has approximately 30 staff. 

The Role
This is your opportunity to join an incredibly stable, well-run and technology-enabled business with an established presence in the Vancouver market and lead the growth for this territory covering the Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast. Building on established relationships and creating new ones, you will take a strategic approach to grow your market. You will look to drive sales through existing partners by way of improved service provision, understanding their needs, and educating them on opportunities that your brand can bring them. You will pull sales through these dealer partners by identifying projects and working with contractors to switch suppliers. You will be tasked with identifying new dealers to expand your distribution relationships and ultimately held accountable for growing the revenue throughout the region.

The Candidate
This role will suit an ambitious sales person with proven knowledge of the building materials industry and experience selling to retail and contractor markets. Whilst the territory is established and, as a result, the recurring revenue is already creating commissions, there is an extremely competitive incentive program for sales growth. Someone coming into this role and growing the business will certainly reap the rewards. 

Career Opportunities
Beyond this role, there are opportunities for progression within the business for the right person but initially, the focus is growing the territory sales for the first few years.
