Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and execute the sales strategy across Edmonton, Northern Alberta, and Southern Alberta
- Establish pricing strategies, target accounts, and growth plans aligned with company objectives
- Support the build out of a sales team across regions as the business scales
- Track performance, pipeline, and key sales metrics
- Actively pursue new business with residential builders, multi family developers, and framing contractors across Alberta
- Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate opportunities
- Identify and secure key accounts across both Northern and Southern Alberta
- Position the company as a preferred supplier through service, reliability, and expertise
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, project managers, and procurement teams
- Understand customer needs and align internal teams to deliver on expectations
- Support clients through the full project lifecycle from quoting to delivery
- Work closely with design, production, and purchasing to ensure alignment on timelines, pricing, and capacity
- Support estimating and quoting processes with accurate information and clear communication
- Provide market feedback to leadership to support pricing, product, and operational decisions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics across Alberta
- Identify opportunities for product expansion, service improvements, and market penetration
- Support long term growth strategy across both Northern and Southern regions
- Promote a strong safety culture in all customer interactions and job site engagement
- Ensure alignment with company and customer safety standards when working on site
- Support adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements within the construction environment
- 7 to 15 plus years of sales experience within lumber, building materials, truss, or engineered wood products
- Strong, established relationships across both Edmonton, Northern Alberta, and Southern Alberta markets
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing new business
- Experience selling into residential and multi family construction
- Leadership experience or the ability to step into a leadership role as the team grows
- Strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and customer expectations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a multi region market
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, growth oriented environment
