Main Responsibilities/ Duties:
- To provide professional sales and technical service to customers as requested by the client by promoting their range of exterior compact HPL products.
- To achieve set sales targets for the direct sale of the client's products to existing and new customers.
- To resolve any complaints or issues in relation to services/materials supplied by the company with the assistance of the Sales Manager.
- To actively promote and sell the full range of products offered.
- Manage and develop effective customer relationships using CRM on a daily basis to ensure that all potential is maximized.
- To develop a business relationship with key architectural offices, specifiers, contractors and engineers to influence product specification on key projects.
- Promote exterior collection to architects and contractors. Including CEU presentations.
- Manage Forecasted Sales / Project list monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Required overnight travel 50% .
- Responsible for a sales budget set by the sales manager in the defined territory.
- Responsible for the implementation of an approved business plan to drive sales for the future of the product.
- Responsible for working with and driving sales through basis of design with our sales agents and A&D representatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the exterior rainscreen/ façade market
- Required overnight travel 50% .
- Degree in architectural or building sciences preferred
- Proven track record in technical specification sales
- Must be from the façade industry with strong understanding of the façade market
- Proven track record of selling/winning specifications with façade engineers, façade consultants, building surveyors or architects.
- Extensive experience in construction or the façade market preferred.
- Existing contacts within the market preferred.
- Experience with sales of building envelope products such as HPL, glass, cladding, aluminium systems, rainscreen, curtain walling, facades etc.
- Experience of interactions with HPL fabricators, distributors and installers.
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM, construction specifications software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
As the geographical area worked is to be the Southeastern US, the candidate MUST live within an easily commutable distance of the area to be considered for the role.
