  • Working with an electrical contractor, lighting supplier, or distributor
  • Looking to transition into a more integrated, client-facing and design-oriented role
WHY THIS ROLE
  • Exposure to premium, design-driven projects across multiple markets
  • Involvement across the full project lifecycle: budgeting → design coordination → procurement → installation
  • Direct collaboration with architects, interior designers, and developers
  • A strong platform for growth into Project Management or specialized lighting expertise
  • Support for professional development within the lighting industry
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Review electrical, architectural, and interior design drawings to understand project scope
  • Lead and support project budgeting, estimating, and quotation development
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to source, price, and value engineer lighting solutions
  • Manage shop drawings and submittals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design intent
  • Oversee procurement processes, including purchase orders, vendor coordination, and delivery tracking
  • Soutien change management, including add/delete pricing and updates
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Assist with site coordination and technical support during installation phases
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the project ecosystem
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, ideally within tenant improvement, workplace, or restaurant projects
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Estimating, take-offs, and quotations
    • Reviewing drawings and specifications
    • Coordinating trades, suppliers, and project documentation
  • Exposure to lighting products or electrical scopes is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability
  • Confident communicator who can engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU
  • Competitive base salary in the $70,000 – $85,000 range
  • Comprehensive annual bonus structure
  • Extended health and dental benefits
  • Ongoing support for industry training and career advancement
If you come from an electrical or lighting background and are looking to expand beyond execution into a more holistic project role, this is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of design, technical delivery, and client experience—on projects where lighting plays a central role in the final outcome.
