Our client is a leading stone fabrication and installation company specializing in custom countertops for residential, multi-family, and commercial markets. 
To ensure the highest quality and timely service, all products are produced in-house and installed by dedicated in-house teams. Due to rapid growth, the company has recently moved to a state-of-the-art 13,000 sq. ft. production facility equipped with 2 bridge saws, 2 CNC work centers, and a line polisher.
 
About the Role:
The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of stone surfacing and countertop installation projects. Responsibilities include project initiation, estimation, fabrication, installation, job costing, and invoicing. The role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope while maintaining exceptional client relationships and effective communication with internal teams.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects in the countertop or cabinet fabrication and installation industry.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders for efficient project execution.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Define project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Allocate resources and develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage and communicate changes to project scope, schedule, and budget using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure performance using project management tools and techniques.
  • Report project status to leadership and escalate issues as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for project deliverables.
  • Perform risk management to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Assess staffing needs to ensure optimal utilization of field staff.
  • Track and analyze project performance to achieve both short- and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Use and continuously develop leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and document processes, including spreadsheets and diagrams, to streamline operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of project management experience in countertop or cabinet fabrication and installation.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong coaching, leadership, and team development abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
