Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Job Captain/Team Lead to join their Toronto team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and working closely with architects, consultants, and clients from design through construction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the production and coordination of construction documents and permit packages.
- Manage projects through various phases, from design development to construction.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code requirements and municipal regulations.
- Mentor junior technologists and contribute to overall project success.
- Participate in site reviews and contract administration activities as required.
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience within a Canadian architecture or engineering consulting environment.
- Strong experience delivering commercial, retail, and/or light industrial projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction detailing, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
- Experience with SketchUp, Photoshop, or Illustrator is considered an asset.
