WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the development and coordination of construction documents and permit packages.
- Work closely with architects, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate technical design solutions and ensure project compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Support project delivery from schematic design through construction administration.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior technologists and team members.
- Participate in consultant coordination meetings, site reviews, and contract administration activities.
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience within a Canadian architectural or engineering consulting environment.
- Experience working on institutional, educational, public-sector, healthcare, or community-based projects.
- Strong understanding of building systems, technical detailing, and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and municipal approval processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
