We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to contribute to design, production of working drawings, and client relations within the luxury home industry. This role is critical to our production team and offers the chance to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, focusing on custom luxury homes.
ABOUT THE ROLE This role requires a well-rounded skill set in the development, preparation, and review of working drawings. You will work from sketches and notes to produce completed drawings, requiring proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Additionally, you will routinely collaborate with team members, fostering an environment of teamwork and mentorship to ensure quality and adherence to project timelines. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential as you will liaise with clients, builders, and governing authorities.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and production
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in luxury residential projects preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
