Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join their busy Inside Sales Team. The ideal candidate is self-driven and eager to further their skills in the Building Materials and Construction Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers on orders, evaluate needs, propose solutions
- Help grow and maintain relationships with customers
- Identify opportunities with existing customers to grow business
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Work collaboratively with the team on continuous improvement
- Contribute to accurate and on-time shipments
- Communicate with internal cross functional departments
- Bring an entrepreneurial attitude to the role
- Minimum 2 years experience inside sales, order desk or customer service combined with practical knowledge of building materials, metals, or building construction highly preferred
- Proven ability to connect with customers in person or on the phone
- Strong math and analytical skills, time management and organizational skills
- Excellent people skills with commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Eagerness to learn products relevant to customers needs
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers to earn repeat business
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere.
- Willingness to continually develop professional skills and knowledge base.
