The HR Generalist will be responsible for various key functions, including recruitment, payroll processing, employee relations and development, benefit administration and compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Recruitment – develop job descriptions in coordination with managers, create job posts, conduct initial screening and assist throughout the hiring and on-boarding process.
- Payroll Processing – process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll.
- Employee Relations - serve as a point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Compliance - maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws, and company policies.
- Training and Development - support the coordination of training requirements and employee development programs.
- Performance Management - contribute to performance management initiatives, including evaluations and goal-setting.
- Social Committee – coordinate with social committee team on activities and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant HR work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, employee development and employee relations.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, an asset
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, and payroll procedures.
- Some experience with HR-related financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communication, highly organized and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to support employee through payroll, and benefit questions and issues in a timely manner.
