Annie is an experienced Recruiter with a proven track record of success within the Architecture, Design, and Construction industry. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA.Annie also has 14 years of experience in Vancouver, BC as a Commercial Interior Designer, specializing in Workplace and Financial Institutions. With Annie’s experience and well-developed network of industry professionals in both Commercial and Residential sectors, she not only has the technical design knowledge, hands-on project experience, she also has the deep-rooted connections within the market needed to develop exceptional client and candidate relationships.Annie puts her design expertise and industry network to use on a variety of search engagements in the Architecture and Design industry. She has successfully placed positions within both small and large architecture and design firms, including Junior - Senior Interior Designers and Architects as well as Project Coordinators and Project Manager that have established a strong retention rate with the Clients she has placed with.Annie works personally and professionally with both her clients and candidates, creating long-term relationships with key players in the Architecture & Design industries. She is an active member in the Architecture & Design community and regularly attends industry networking events. As a Member of Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia, Annie is constantly developing her skill set and design knowledge to align with the ever-changing market. Prior to her role at DMC Recruitment Group, Annie worked as a Registered Interior Designer at notable firms in Vancouver, such as MCM Interiors, Stantec Architecture, and SSDG Interiors.Annie developed her deep-rooted network not only through work, but also as a member of IDIBC for nearly 20 years. Your Role:
As an Estimator with 3+ years of experience, you’ll play a key role in the estimating process for commercial interior construction projects. You'll collaborate with project management and business development teams to deliver accurate, competitive estimates while supporting the firm’s high standards.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage all aspects of the estimating and pre-construction process.
  • Develop budgeting strategies and determine project conditions for success.
  • Source and negotiate with top-tier subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Analyze project documents, create precise quantity takeoffs, and provide insights on design and constructability.
  • Collaborate closely with the project and business development teams to support a winning approach.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings and contribute to project planning.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3 years of hands-on estimating experience in commercial construction.
  • Expertise in construction management and contract types.
  • Gold Seal Certification ou Quantity Surveyor Designation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
  • Strong relationships with local subcontractors and a track record of competitive pricing.
