Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a personable, results-driven Business Development Representative who thrives in a collaborative environment. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you’ll work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute sales, marketing, and business development strategies. Your key focus will be achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize HubSpot CRM to document all sales activities.
- Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to create and implement an annual sales strategy for your assigned territory. Update and adjust quarterly as needed.
- Conduct client visits to identify opportunities, develop relationships, and close deals that drive revenue growth.
- Organize and lead lunch-and-learn sessions with customers and the Architectural & Design community.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring a deep understanding of your customer base.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to assist clients in setting product specifications.
- Regularly attend team meetings, sharing feedback on competitors, market conditions, and recent successes.
- Post-secondary education.
- 5-7 years of full-cycle sales experience (customer acquisition, retention, upselling, and closing deals).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas is an asset.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with B2B sales and a “hunter” mentality.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Consistently identify and secure new business.
- Contribute to the development of targeted marketing strategies and analyze their success.
Some exposure to outdoor elements may occur. Travel will vary throughout the year, mostly within North America.
