She was the recipient of the trophy from the Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services(ACSESS) for the province of Quebec in 2023, and she has been standing out as one of the top performers within DMC Recruitment.Karine works closely with manufacturers, distributors, buying groups, and retailers in the building materials industry. She also seeks candidates for roles in architecture & design and construction. Our client is seeking a Directeur du développement commercial for Western Canada, a key position that will have a direct impact on the company’s expansion in this rapidly growing territory.
What we are looking for:
  • A driven, energetic individual with a proven ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships.
  • A strategic manager who will oversee and guide manufacturing representatives.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit capable of increasing product visibility with wholesalers, boutique stores, and plumbers.
  • A “hunter” mentality, pushing to achieve growth and fostering solid partnerships with wholesalers.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and supporting the company’s manufacturing representatives in the Western Canada territory.
  • Driving growth by building strong partnerships with wholesalers, specialty stores, and plumbing professionals.
  • Developing and executing strategies to increase brand visibility in key markets.
  • Travelling up to 50% of the time to develop business relationships across the territory.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally within the building materials or plumbing sector.
  • Proven ability to manage sales teams and drive market growth.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • A proactive and dynamic attitude, with a passion for fostering business success.
